Abs light turned on

So I was driving home from work and my abs light turned on and when i apply brakes the peddle goes to the floor and cant stop i have to use my E-brake. i had really low brake fluid so i bought some and put dot 3 in. when im driving at low speed i can hear really loud noise. i drive 4cyl auto

Stop driving you're car.
Fill the brake fluid.
Find out where it is leaking out.
replace broken part.
Bleed brake system.

So it turns out my driver side axle snapped at the axle nut. im suprised i made it home that night lol.

ill be replacing my axle today. anything i need to watch out for?

When removing and in installing it be VERY careful to not hit the seal (or just replace it...) because it seems to be very delicate and if nicked at all you'll be leaving trans fluid. Put some transmission fluid on the new axle end and seal before sliding it in. And make sure you torque that "Jesus nut" down to 180

Thanks my torque wrench only went up to 150. so i did that and a lil bit more on my breaker bar. but now when i drive i hear a squeeling noise. i also changed my pads and rotors and UCA's. im guessing the dust shield is touching the rotor or those little metal pin to seat the pads arent seated correctly. ill look into it tomorow since ran out of daylight
