Front or rear?

Sorry, in the front.

Chris, yes i ment the fender walls where they roll the fenders or the inner wall itself.

I wanted to go 12kg because majority of the time it is just me in the car, I wouldn't mind a stiffer ride. Plus being this low sometimes i feel I bounce a little to much during roads that aren't too even.

I don't think 12kg would be too much if you don't plan on slamming the ride. 10kg should be about perfect.

I dont know about 10kg to 12kg height difference, but 8kg-6kg is about .5" at lowest setting.

Yeah, slamming is out of my plans. Like Chris has said before, I'm aiming for a 1-finger gap. I wanna be low but I don't wanna rub, roll fenders and im not so sure about relocating bumper tabs either. The latter being the one thing I don't mind doing.

Those of you running the GC's/Yellows, my thought is that with a 0 finger gap, I still wouldn't consider that slammed, but would you still recommend a 12k rating up front?

I already know I will need 10k for the rear because of the audio.

Bump from the dead.

I found a place I can order GC's with custom rates for $388 shipped. I am going to go around 3/4" lower front & rear to get the look I want with the new wheels, which will leave me with roughly 1/2" fingergap between tire and fender.

What rates should I get so that when I hit a bump or dip in the road, the tire doesn't rub the fender? I know I probably have to go somewhat stiff since there is hardly any clearance. From what I understand GC's default rate is 8k/6k. I was thinking of going with 10k/8k. Or should I go with something stiffer? Sacrificing ride comfort to pull these wheels off, lol. I know FF1's are 12k/6k, and FF2's are 12k/8k, are those super stiff in comparison?

Remind me again, what is the lb/in? Is that weight put on the spring or the return rate?

FFs might be 12/6 and 12/8, but they're gonna be stiff and on the harsher side. This is why I'm thinking it might be a better idea, for me, to go with the Eibachs first. That way I can get used to being lowered on something that's not too harsh. I haven't ridden in your car but knowing what I do about you, and the car, I know they're low while maintaining comfort.

Mostly because I just want to make these wheels look their best, which means going lower. I just have to go stiff enough so that the tires don't make contact with the fenders on any normal bump/dip. Big bumps/dips are an exception.
