Waxed the hood last night and installed the OEM hood bra. I am digging the sharp contrast between the red and black. I’ll get a pic on my lunch break.

Too much work, that's what I went with silver wheels rather than polished.....they just wouldn't look good in my care.

Definately worth it when they are done, but that's the problem, I'd have to do it.

VS and many other 3pc wheels are very tedious to clean, for that reason I knew I wanted to get the disks PC’d. Kevin’s setup look so amazing, but I know how painful it would be to keep polished mesh wheels looking good. It’s not like it’s hard, it’s just that it’s time consuming. I can deal with polished lips.

If I had polished lips I would try my best to look at it as something I like to do rather than a chore. I would want to do it rather than have to do it. It helps :)

I am excited about having legit wheels so it will be a labor of love. :)

Clay bared my car, wax is tomorrow

I need to do that.

Agreed, and looking forward to how yours will look.

I took some pics of the front end this morning(headlights/fogs), and of course lamented over the fact that it's been so long since I have gone on a spirited drive.

My older brother is insane about keeping his cars clean down to detail. Back when I was little he used to have me meticulously clean and polish his wheels with an old toothbrush and rag. Partly because free labor, but also probably because my hands were smaller to deal with all the little spots. The wheels looked like this.

Claybar is an awesome improvement. Even when my car is filthy on the outside, it still shines from a distance.

I didn't do anything to it today, I need to wait on some parts from Hong Kong to continue my LED project. I guess I can start soldering and wiring some of it this weekend.

Polished up a bit of scratches. Will do the window trim today with plasti-dip.

Also an old man in a Red AP2 S2000 gave me a thumbs up

You are more than welcome to check out some pics on my DIY thread. ;)

thank you sir, how is it holding up for you?

EDIT

just checked it out, looks great but i don't want to do my chrome trim i want to do the piece above the window. like where you would stick rain guards. i am sure it would work about the same though.
