    That's exactly what I did, I turn the car off and went right to the dip stick and the level showed it was full. Then I left the car running and checked and the stick was dry!     I restarted the car and now it's going in drive. Thanks for all the quick responses. Does this sound like I need a new tranny?

    Anyone have a clue why my car went reverse when I had it in drive? It's a 2001 accord ex 4 cyl. I'm actually stuck in a store parking lot contemplating calling a tow truck or driving home in reverse. Any clues? Thanks
