You can't update the maps, I think they're from like 2010. You can navigate without the disk, but only for areas that you download into the system. For example, I zoomed out on the map so that the entire city of Charlottesville was in view, then put all of that into internal memory so I don't have to use the disc in the city. It will also put your route info into memory if you're navigating to somewhere.

The ones I've seen on ebay and at some of the local yards are going for $100+. Then count shipping and it's way more than I wanna pay. Guess I'll just keep checking local yards. I seriously want to approach someone or flag them down and be like, "Hey! I'll pay you to let me swap our trunks." LOL. It's kinda one of those things really; if I buy any one with a spoiler, it's gonna need painted anyway once the wing is removed. I haven't gotten to that point yet. :\
