    Welcome back, since you want to do a turbo V6, i would suggest to buy a V6 coupe, and they do pop up here and there, they will be easy to do manual swap and turbo. 4 cyl manual are hard to come by, ask me about it. took me almost 10 years to find with low millage and no rust.

    if you have a V6, i would do every year as those transmissions are known for its unreliability. it might be too much if you look at the interval as per owner manual but changing fluid is cheaper than a new transmission.

    i am not sure which mounting brackets you are referring to, but i know that on the front place where upper grill sit is different between 98-00 and 01-02.
