I always loved the 6th gen accord coupe. I had (well still have) a black 2002 EX-L 4cyl manual (I'm the only owner) and a dark purple 1998 LX 4cyl manual that I bought used while I was modifying my 2002.
However, about 15-20 years ago, at the last few years of my last of university, I got into financial issue and couldn't afford to do anything else on my car. So my 2002 was stored in my backyard until I could revive the project. The 1998 was my daily until I got into an accident. The insuranced totaled the 1998 because of the value, but I bought it back for a small fee so I can use some component from it. The 1998 got stored in my backyard since then.
I live in the Montreal, Canada area, so now both of my car would need substantial body repair just to make it a good base to modify. My financial are now much much better and I want to revive my love for the 6th gen.
So, I'm starting to look to buy a 6th gen coupe that is perfectly 0 rust, I don't mind the paint as I will paint it the way I want and for the engine, I will want a turbo V6 manual, so I know I will need modification either to the engine mount if I get a 4cyl manual body or the clutch pedal if it's a v6 body.
I'm ready to be patient and I know I might need to import one from the USA or other province in Canada, but I'm ready to use freight transport for the right car.
