will this lip work on my 01 accord coupe?
i wouldnt recommend buying baysonr's OE style lip for a 00-02.... i dont think it will fit correctly no matter how much modding you do. BaysonR also told me they dont carry the type-r anymore...- Therock249

i have some bondo, but im not gonna try to fill in the gaps because as soon as i get moving the wind will flex it and the bondo will crack like dry wall plaster. ive basically given up on it and decided to wait until baysonr or someone comes out with an exact fit... gotta say, from certain...- Therock249

so we went ahead and screwed it onto the points on the wheel wells, just to see how screwed up it was....and as you can see, even without the ridiculously horrible cutting job i did, there's still a huge gap. I followed the how-to post, but obviously the template i printed was MUCH bigger...- Therock249

it was the "OE" from baysonr. I already passed it on to a friend of mine; he's gonna use bondo or something to fill in the gaps and put it on his car. Didnt take any pics; gotta save myself the embarrasment lol....if he gets it to work i will though- Therock249

well.....epic fail on my part. ended up cutting off a little too much and its dunzo. It would have looked GREAT though... guess im gonna end up waiting til someone (baysonr?) ends up making one for the 00-02 specifically...- Therock249

lol ok totally realize now thats not where to cut.....but now im lost again?? i assume i need to cut off the corner parts where those little "tabs" stick up, so that the entire top of the lip is flat...im following the DIY how-to...- Therock249

the right side of the pic is looking forward at the driver side of the car....it may be just me, but it doesnt seem like this is going to fit at all.... do i have it correctly set up, where the inside of the blue tape is where i cut?- Therock249

sorry to keep beating this thread to death, but i'm about to order the type-r front lip from that baysonr website, but i just want to make sure....it says its for 98-02 4-door accord; i assume it will fit the coupe as well? and is this the same lip that will need a little trim work according to...- Therock249

Wow, I was under the impression that this spoiler was the same thing as the type-r....so if the 02 type r spoiler fits correctly, I'm just gonna get one of those! A google search is showing most are under $100 too- Therock249
