won't start
I do not hear the pump. The engine turns over. No, I don't have a timing light, nor do i know of another way to check for spark... All the damage appears to be body/cosmetic: door, two dents in rear, and scuffs on bumper....- thomas!!

i went to my house today... I heard no whining of the fuel pump, so that will be step one i guess, getting the tank down and out to replace it...- thomas!!

Impact was on the passenger side, mainly the door... anything in particular to check, other than that that has already been mentioned?- thomas!!

sorry that i gave the impretion that its getting gas... i should have just said that its available... My thing is why did it start the day of the accident and wont anymore... other than the accident nothing was done different.- thomas!!

Yeah, there is a half tank of gas, and the thing that gets me is that it started right after teh accident... But won't now... it sounds like its not getting any fuel, but like i said there's half tank there.. the first thing i thought was an emergency fuel cut-off, but couldn't find one...- thomas!!

well if you guys remember, a short while ago i was in an accident... The day of, it started fine, but now it won't start. Its a 98 EX coupe, 5spd. The engine turns over and all, but no start. I even tried to clutch start it, but that didn't help... All the accessories work and what not...- thomas!!

^^^ the hood is coupe, though i know there is a gap... a few months ago this kid that works at a cookie shop was makin' his deliveries when he decided to back up at a stoplight... and bent that part of the hood. -

no not paying out of pocket... but sometimes its cheaper to bring the parts to the shop, right? -

well the cop that came to do the report insists that the insurance company won't total it. The car still drives just fine. The only problem is all the body work to fix it. Anybody got a San Marino Red coupe door laying around? I imagine that the rear panel will be somewhat of a pain... -
