    Took the centers off Centers are going to get stripped and repainted, didn't plan on this but they're more beat up then I like. Then I took the hardware And tumbled it with walnut shell media in an ammo tumbler. Works great! This is after 3 hours, but I left them in there overnight...

    Found some wheels I like. Having a friend pick them up next week and will hopefully have them in my hands next weekend. They need some refinishing but I think you guys will like them when I'm done with them!

    how many MPG do you guys get?

    01 DX 5MT with 190k on it. Low of 25 MPG and high of almost 34. Average of just above 29 over 11,500 miles so far.

    Most shocks valving is only good for a range of a few hundred pounds, example 400-800lb/in I don't know what rates the FF2's are valved for, but chances are 900lb/in(16k) is way too high for stock valving and the spring will end up less than optimally controlled.

    If they're regular 2.5"springs, you can buy springs from hypercoil or eibach. Revalving shocks is going to depend on the manufacturer

    Put the 20mm TL 6 speed bar on the back of the car. Contrary to popular belief, I did not have to bend the exhaust hanger. Mmmm, greatly reduced inside wheel spin while turning and increased body control. Car feels much less like a yacht, although it is still some sort of smaller boat!

    No need for gas to learn! The MIG actually gets a lot of use with flux core as well as gas, flux makes dirty work(like rusty new england exhuasts) much easier. But it certainly is messier.
