Few weeks ago I had a no start issue. Redid the entire harness and got the car back on the road. For good this time (hopefully). Also, -5 points for my jank wiring the first time around.

Any particular reason for swapping? Lol. Just curious. I think your money would be much better spent on your current engine but I’ll be happy to answer any questions for a measly 1 billion dollars and a ticket to Japan so I can visit Type 1 :lawl: M I know. But to be honest these wheels...

Not sure if anyone is still on here, however, I’ll throw up some progress pictures for the thread to keep it current. I’ve lowered the car with some truhart lowering struts and Megan racing lower springs. They required some work to cooperate together but other than the occasional slight...

    Rubbing sound

I really feel like they only get older people to pay for this sh1t because the husband can change the tire but “there’s too many sensors and electronics on these new cars” and he doesn’t want to mess anything up :lawl: Other than that no person under 40 with common sense will pay these prices...

Found some wicked terminal corrosion. Seemed to happen overnight. Since I just put about 1000 continuous miles on the car I’ll watch it and see if it comes back. Maybe going from Florida straight to pa had something to do with it?

That is WAAAAYY too much money lol. But at least you know it’s done correctly. And if not at least you have a sort of guarantee that it’s done correctly.

    Richard's '02 V6 Coupe EX-L

Man that’s awesome lol. I hate taking the family wheels. We have a corolla for everything and it’s smaller than my cg. I think my issue is her. The baby is fine. The exhaust noise doesn’t bother him and he doesn’t get hot because I finally hooked up the AC lol. I’m starting to see why you went...

Things to double check would be pads, rotors and calipers if it’s only on braking. Cv axle is worth double checking as is the hub. It could just be the stone shield running on the rotor. Easiest way to check is jack the car up, put it in neutral and spin the wheel by hand.

    Help!! Slammed accord down.

This ^^ there’s really no other way it would be on unless the pressure switch is faulty but if it stays in you shouldn’t be driving anyways. Just pull the pan and see if the pickup is ok. If it’s not then you’ll need a new oil pickup gasket, tube and oil pan. Best case is the dented spot in the...

Same clutch pedal as that generation of tl. 99-02? Or the 99 cl. Those are even rarer in most cases. Have you tried eBay?

    Engine Theory, Build, Etc Discussion.

That would get expensive real quick. Not only do you have to swap out the motor, you’ll need a whole lot more. New trans, new shift linkage, new mounts, new axles, new subframe, everything in the engine bay has to be swapped around, new ecu (which you can’t use without the key, so you’ll have...

    Engine Theory, Build, Etc Discussion.

You should not be turboing a high mileage motor without understanding all the things you have questions about. The general consensus is these things can handle about 200 -250 hp on stock internals. You shouldn’t l assume you should get connecting rods and you’re set. The bearings should be...

3 wire iacv to 2 wire without swapping manifolds (DIY)

For the past 2 months my car has had the following symptoms: surging, 1500 to 2000 rpm hesitation, heavy engine braking when not on the gas ( it’s a manual) and just poor drivability. People on the internet including some big name companies say you have to repin this and swap manifolds to use...

    Frankensteins Official Thread

Alright dudes. After like 3 plus months of heavy engine braking, surging and hesitation I finally figured it out. I had a chip for the ecu made until I can get a tune. I told the tuner I wanted the iacv and Iab disabled for a few reasons. The individual throttle bodies in the manifold on the...

    H23 swap temp gauge

It’s almost guaranteed not to run correctly without the proper ecu. You might lean out since the ecu is for a 2.2 liter and the engine is a 2.3. I could be wrong since it’s only .1 liter but I guess we will find out lol

    Turboing high mileage F23a4?

Ok really? I had to read this one to make sure i read it correctly. 8-10 psi means NOTHING. Every turbo puts out different volumes and pressures based on turbine size and housing. 8-10 psi on a 62mm turbo and a 68mm turbo are different. Second, why waste money on a turbo kit right? And then buy...
