    Not a big honda guy

With it now being an most 20yr old engine, probably won't hold up for under boost. Still a great motor though.

F22b1, slightly different from what comes in 98-02's.

    Not a big honda guy

Look out for quarter panel, subframe, brake line, and fuel line rot if its from a northern state that uses salt. Igntion replacement, can be a pain if you have 2 mismatching keys. Those are usually the big problems. H22's are good engines, I personally wouldn't use/swap one unless I knew the...

    Cracked Sunroof

Nope Also, make sure it's a factory sunroof (EX trim or higher) b/c some dealers liked to install aftermarket sunroofs in lower end models and you will never find a replacement for it in the junkyard.

    Blackcurrantkord's Big Black...aka Yukon

lol, I honestly didn't intend for it like that, I swear. Srsly though, the stock lighting on these things sucks, horribly. I was driving with my highbeams on in anything other than dusk b/c I couldn't see, at all. These LED lights are amazing and I can still drive with the highbeams on b/c you...

    Blackcurrantkord's Big Black...aka Yukon

I've had this thing for almost 4yrs now, it's my dd, baseball & kayak hauler, winter beater w/ a heater (and A/C) and general all around, do it all, vehicle. It was originally my dad's for a few years before he upgraded to a Expedition (don't ask why) and rather than him get nothing for it on...

    Wrapping factory f23a exhaust manifold

It will not lower underhood temps, I can tell you that with confidence
  13. BlkCurrantKord

    How long?

I scrapped the car. The roof alone would've taken a ton of work to fix that at the time I just wasn't interested in dumping into it anymore. If it hadn't been for that, I'd still have it.

    How long?

I got my accord when I was 20ish with inheritance from the passing of my grandmother. I was starting college, my old car was crapping out, it was new(er) and reliable for me to start college with. First things I did were wheels and tires, then a magnaflow catback, then coilovers, slowly did...

    Wrapping factory f23a exhaust manifold

It's cast iron. It's fine the way it is. If you had an actual tubular header, I'd say sure, wrap it if it's 100% 304ss, if it's mild steel, don't bother. I guarantee anyone that sees that you've wrapped a cast iron manifold will point and laugh. If you really want to throw your $$ away at...

So, rear main seal $20 (plus a couple hours of your time), cam seal ($9), coolant ($20), vtec gasket ($13). The a/c and trans are up to you, I just removed my a/c and ran without it, I hardly used it anyways. Trans, when was the last time you changed the fluid? Guess what, every car will have...

    Need an opinion

You can definitely make it look good and handle well. The go fast part is all dependent on how far you want to take it.

    Need an opinion

Alright, Let's forget the turbocharging for now. These accords will never be fast in a straight line, they're too heavy. Figure out what you want it to be fast at or good at, and go from there.

    Need an opinion

Here's the real question - How mechanically inclined are you? Do you have the time, space, tools, skills, etc necessary to do a manual swap? Do you have an extra ride if you can't finish the swap in a few days? Ask yourself these questions, then go from there. I'm not trying to question...
