    Socal Sightings!

If you spot a pearl white T-Bird with a "bald spot" on the roof, then you've spotted me, lol. There aren't too many T-birds around, let alone, pearl white ones. Also, whenever I see a clean 6Gen and I'm not in mine, I wish I would be in mine, lol.

You know you drive a 6th gen Accord when....

It's not all about suspension. It definitely helps, but it's not all. You also need the rubber and brakes for it. Oh, and the cojones para hacerlo todo :). And I've been a casualty of GMR myself. It's where I totaled my RX-8 7 years ago this month.

    What tires to buy?

Falken Ziex-912 that you're thinking about. Now, the only reason why I kept buying these tires before going to Potenza Grid 019s I have now is because since I kept getting a new set well under their expected warrantied mileage, I kept getting them pro-rated so the next set was dirt cheap. I...

You know you drive a 6th gen Accord when....

^^ Since you're here in SoCal as well, hit up Highways 243, 74, "Red Road", 30, 330, and if you want to test your luck, GMR. Everytime I went through those, I was using 2 and D3 religiously.

    What tires to buy?

I ran these on my Accord for about 2.5 years. I bought 3 sets of these tires and each set only lasted me 23k miles or so average. That's including rotating them every 5k miles. Never flipped them though since they're not symmetrical. If I would have done that, they probably would have lasted...

    Socal craigslist findings

I need to have a working car first before I go there. No way in hell I'm walking the two miles or so and back just to check out the car. BTW, I'm 0 for 2 in terms of working vehicles right now....

    Valve Clearance

In this picture, we are shown the head facing the front of the car. This head goes over cylinders 4, 5, and 6. Here, the intake valves are the ones closest to the intake manifold and exhaust are the ones on exhaust manifold. So, if you were to work on this head, you would put it on TDC for #4...

    High Mileage 6th Gens

I wouldn't buy it for what he's asking for. He's only had it for a month and is only looking to flip it. I'm sure he bought it for like $2,000 or something, put in $700 or so worth of work between the header, CAI, and anything else and just wants his money back.
