I ran these on my Accord for about 2.5 years. I bought 3 sets of these tires and each set only lasted me 23k miles or so average. That's including rotating them every 5k miles. Never flipped them though since they're not symmetrical. If I would have done that, they probably would have lasted me longer.

And yes, I drive a shit

Wat tires exactly?

Falken Ziex-912 that you're thinking about.

Now, the only reason why I kept buying these tires before going to Potenza Grid 019s I have now is because since I kept getting a new set well under their expected warrantied mileage, I kept getting them pro-rated so the next set was dirt cheap. I only paid something like $250 for 4 new tires for sets 2 and 3.

I did like the tires' performance though. I felt that they stuck to the road really nicely compared to the 019s I have now. It's just that I was tired of getting new tires every 10 - 14 months or so.

Drew, what are you looking for? Ultra-high performance, high performance, dry weather only, all-season? Will these be on year-round or just summer? Are you opposed to directionals?

I've had Dunlop DZ101 Direzza, Yokohama AVID Envigor, and Continental Extreme DW. Looking back, I liked the Dunlop best. The Yokohama are quieter and softer but they're directional.

We all know Michelin are the best but they're pricey. Believe it or not I've heard wonderful things about General Altimax HP as well. Tirerack is also usually the cheapest place online.

Im currently running Firestone Firehawks. Its worth the extra 25 bucks a tire seriously. Hardly any road noise. If you go to Firestone you can do 6 months same as cash so I could spring for better tires :lolrun:

Actually looking for good tread life good tire for a stretch on my 17x9.75 rim going for 215/45. Was considering federal 595s kuz they run a size bigger but open to other options.

Tread rating isn't really going to matter if you're running a lot of camber. Hence why many people just get regular cheapo tires to stretch.

Maybe you should look into NeoGens.

ive got the Achilles ATR Sport and I havent had any issues with them yet. I've only put a couple thousand on them though. They are pretty quiet and at the price, pretty hard to beat. I looked at a lot of reviews all over the internet before deciding on the Achilles, Im pretty satisfied.

about $76 bucks a tire plus shipping at nlmotoring.com

Damn!! that tireseasy.com place is stupid cheap! $56 a tire!!

Wish I knew about them when i was buying my tires
