welcome to the world of filterless sensors :lawl:
my K-3 still has an AA simulation mode in case moire pops up :booty: it did in a video i took with my K-01 earlier, which has a weak AA filter.
this is really a good use of the extra space in the tail lamps (and practical). what fog light did you use?
ironically, i was reading up on them last night. its too bad my coupe doesnt have any place inside the tails.
a couple weeks before christmas, i bought a few small things...my parents "gave" me an OEM cargo net to add to the (used) trunk mat. also got some rubber floor mats, some touchup paint, and a handful of bumper clips.
too cold to install anything but the floor mats and trunk tray :squintrun...
i saw a B4 on the side of the highway the other day :lawl:
i live in madison and i have a couple left over parts from my 6th gen (blackhoused headlights, K&N panel filter, modified stock airbox, etc) so that would save on shipping. nothing special, but cheap :lawl:
theres a handful of...
coming back to this thread, its :lawl:s to see most of the complaints listed are now standard or available features since 2010 (some were introduced in the 7th gen, even) :lawl:
except RWD :squintrun:
Soooooo much better :lawl: the ride is stiffer but still comfy and there's basically zero body roll. Handles bad roads nicely overall, even with 18" tires.
"only" 27mpg mostly city? :lawl: the 6th Gen would go down that far with 10% city driving :lawl:
took it for a little road trip today and almost finished the first tank of gas which was mostly my normal commute plus ~150 miles of all highway today, averaged 26.5mpg on 14.35 gallons (of 87) :iranmaybe: the 6th gen got like 24.5 on my commute and would hit 28-30 on the highway.
needless to...
Re: Car brand imbreeding.....
dat thread title spelling :snoopfacepalm:
there is an infographic floating around from a few years ago that shows all car manufacturers and who controls what...like fiat controls ferrari, etc.
tell me more about retrofitting those LED projectors :boink: i was under the impression the insides of the 9th gen lights are almost identical to the 8th, but theres definitely not enough space in the 8th
the 9th gen is the best looking accord (coupe and sedan) they've ever made...
bentley? :eh: :lawl:
reality called and said i was never going to be able to find a comparable RWD car for anywhere near what i paid for the accord...especially not a german car, unless it was a 10 year old E46.
the carbon metallic on my dads TSX is definitely a little darker than the polished metal...we all know honda likes to not change things too radically for colors :lawl:
only 500 miles? thats less than one month of commuting only for me :lawl:
mine rattles right behind the dome lights (big...
the 8th gen sedans are awful, so i had to make the sacrifice :lawl: when the time comes for something newer, it will probably be a 9th gen sedan.
these wheels are on tons of cars i see on autotrader, but i can recall seeing them around town maybe once. i will be buying the 2013+ "sport" 18s...
the gray wasnt my first choice (gray is the new silver which was the new black :lawl:) but i really like it now. it changes color depending on what light is reflecting off it.
yesterday, it was light gray since the driveway was dry. today its wet, so it looks a couple shades darker. the sunset...
19/29...accord was 20/27. 23 combined, which is identical, just with 271hp/254tq instead :iranmaybe:
its a 2011 EX-L V6 in polished metal metallic/black leather, siriusXM/non-nav, 5AT with paddle shifters, just under 21k miles.
HIDs in halogen reflectors is terrible.
any bulb with some kind of coating on it to make it "whiter and brighter" will have its life reduced, no matter what, due to the heat the coating traps.
ive had my HIRs since the spring of 2006. if my next car has 9006 low beams without stock HIDs...
moonroof drain x eleventy. mine came unhooked for whatever reason and (i believe) caused the ABS module to go bad...in addition to the smelly feet odor inside :ugh:
