    I sheared one of mine even with PB blaster and a torch.....SO I drilled it out and put a stainless bolt/lock nut on it. Those bolts see some serious heat/corrosion/mileage etc etc

    That's exactly the info I was looking for, as that definitely saved me some metering time. This is definitely worth a DIY both with/without using the PAC (what I mean by this is adding the controls to a car without any steering wheel harness like my EX 4cyl coupe). Thanks again for the info....

    So are you using a PAC Steering wheel Interface (SWI-PS ) or did you just wire straight to the controls? What did you do as far wiring from/to the steering wheel controls as they have a two-pronged plug interface from what I remember.....
