im pretty sure some tranny fluid does leak out when you pull "shaft" out *insert high school girl giggles here* , but if you're careful, it shouldn't leak so much that you have to refill
if money is really that big of an issue, i'd suggest getting used ones. just make sure there's nothing wrong with it.
Oh, and imo, brand/how it sounds does matter. think twice before u cheap out on it.

thing is, when i pour in 5 quarts of oil (recommended h22 amount), my dipstick shows too low. i'm not sure what the dipstick is from. I thought it was the oem one but guess i was wrong.
lol let's just say that after a year of driving the h22 engine, it finally appeared to me that the dipstick on my car right now might not be of the right size. so i needed confirmation
