    H23 vtec swap idle

Can I see a picture of the adapter plate? I wasn't able to find a single adapter plate for a front mount iacv, only rear mounted ones which are a little different. But that was 2 years ago, maybe things changed. Anyways, did you make sure it made a proper seal? Maybe a little air is escaping...

Engine Overheating - Replaced Thermostat but did not help

The jiggle hole thing on the thermostat goes on top, did you possibly install it upside down? What brand is the thermostat? I try to stick with oem, don't trust a crappy brand like duralast in something as critical as the cooling system. Also try bleeding the system Sent from my SGH-T399 using...

    H23 vtec swap idle

If you need to worry about emissions you'll need either a usdm obd2 p13 (very rare and expensive) or a 97-01 manual ecu. Can't remember the ecu code, but you'll need to get the immobilizer bypassed. And don't forget to add any usdm emissions parts to make it pass. It'll be best to keep the p28...

    H23 vtec swap idle

The f23 and h23a iac are 3 wires, but it still needs to be converted. The p13 and p28 both rely on a 2 wire iac, and I'm pretty sure you can't modify the p28 to run on a 3 wire. I've done this exact swap a few years ago and had to deal with this same issue Sent from my SGH-T399 using Tapatalk

    Helicoil thread repair

You can go to AutoZone, napa, o reilly, Lowe's, home depot etc. They typically have a convenient tool you can use to check your screw, just make sure you take your screw with you. My method of repair isn't exactly cheap, but I decided to go with the best for thread repair and use timesert...

    Caliaccord's 2002 Accord sedan Lx (56k) (Big Update 9/12/15)

Re: Caliaccord's 2002 Accord sedan Lx (56k) Keep an eye on the classifieds section. Every once in a while a good deal comes up on some good coilovers. The FF2 is a pretty good compromise between road and track from what I hear, no personal experience though. Sent from my SGH-T399 using Tapatalk

    H23a vtec swap

The driver side of the intake manifold has a screw that holds a ground. Is the wiring for the distributor done right? Or maybe you just need to replace the cap/rotor Sent from my SGH-T399 using Tapatalk

    How to gain more torque?

An auto to manual swap will make the car perform much better without actually adding power. And a supercharger or turbo will add the most torque obviously. I believe the TL SC can be retrofitted to fit on these cars Sent from my SGH-T399 using Tapatalk

What are some basic mods to gain torque/acceleration?

Pretty much what A-cord83 did, it's more worth it to get ebay (or AutoZone) piping and use a good quality filter. Sent from my SGH-T399 using Tapatalk

What'd you do to your accord today?

That honestly doesn't look bad at all, props to whoever had the dedication and commitment to do that! Sent from my SGH-T399 using Tapatalk

    bairdandrew77's SOHC ZC CRX

Finally have a worthwhile update. The Skunk2 full size aluminum radiator came in the mail maybe 3 days after my last post. Cost a total of $180, very reasonable price in my opinion. Other than grinding down a small tab where the AC fan would have been, it was a direct fit and the quality seems...

Not too bad, digging the wheels. I'm sure a slight drop would help the appearance a little more

    Jdm ecu

It reads only one O2 sensor instead of 2. Umm it most likely won't pass emission (depending on where you live) with the JDM ECU.

Is 35% window tinting dangerous when drive at night?

My brother has 5% (or was it 10%?) On his Saturn wagon. Obviously not an accord, but it's been on there for at least 7 years and we've never had complaints. No tint on the windshield though.

    bairdandrew77's SOHC ZC CRX

Yeah I'm pretty glad it's just a 25 year old radiator that gave out and nothing else. It actually looks like someone tried patching it up in the same place before. Really not a big deal though, I ordered a skunk2 full size replacement yesterday. Just not sure how long it'll take to get here...

P1456 code and fuel vapour leak

If you're willing to take a chance and spend the money, replace the gas cap. Use only OEM, none of the parts store stuff. I know from personal experience, they're going to keep throwing codes until you use a factory cap.

    bairdandrew77's SOHC ZC CRX

Good news and bad news. So I got the car started a few days ago! I was able to start it for a few seconds then shut it right off until I put coolant in, which didn't happen until today. Today I let the car idle up to operating temp to bleed the coolant, make sure it doesn't overheat and see if...

Illegal to work on your car

I think one reason honda and subaru aren't on this stupid *** list is because they know a big chunk of their buyers are tuners and enthusiasts. If they make it illegal to work on cars, they just lost a very huge portion of their customers
