a real answer to Throttle Body Spacers...do they work?

lol, I was meaning that the same "flow characteristics" were achieved by the bigger throttle at 30% when it theoretically would take the smaller TB more input. Maybe it was my choice of words but "basically" I was in total agreement with you!

a real answer to Throttle Body Spacers...do they work?

Iam not talking in terms of MAX flow, iam was reffering to intake velocity and volume( "the TBS issue"). Your statement about "opening it up 30% would yield the same effect as opening up the smaller one 50%" is true being that they both end up with the same diameter and circumference..lol :p...

a real answer to Throttle Body Spacers...do they work?

Not always, neccessarily. Manifold design also plays a role in throttle response at lower rpms. The f23 manifold, in itself, is already designed for quick throttle response, being that it has short runners and a big plenum. I would better advocate a aftermarket throttle body, if one wanted to...

a real answer to Throttle Body Spacers...do they work?

Case closed, Throttle body spacers do absolutely sh!t. Its the same concept as the plenum stackers people put on dual runner manifolds, to increase the volume.

    H23 headers

Unless you are going for a real custom race header with anti-revision chambers, all of the regular ones will be about the same, in terms of performance. DC, megan, greddy, kamikaze etc.

    header/ exhaust wrap

My AEM CIA intake is wrapped, and seems to keep the pipe a little coolor than without it. Plus overtime the wrap has seemed to glue itself to the intake pipe..lol. Being that aluminum intake pipes are the coolest, the wrap just aids in process of keeping the intake at slightly lower temps. I...

you cant, only the obd1 cars allow the ignition timing adjustment via the distributor. Which is done using a timing light, to advance or retard

    engine swap

well...on second thought you could get a low milage obd2 H23. They usually go for $800. Nothing spectacular, and a moderately fun engine. Or, just throw another f23 in, if that's still too much

THE Ultimate, end-all guide to doing an OBDII to OBDI conversion on a 6th gen accord!

Nice write up shark!!! Thats basically everything i have purchased, I only needed the obd1 dizzy because iam using the H23 head. Also if any of you are planing on going with a piggy back system ie: Uber or Crome, you will need a eprom chip programmer and a UV chip eraser, along with a few minor...

    Fellow F series..

Excellent choice Sonnick, That bisi stage 1 camshaft will open the f23 up for sure. I remember when I talked to him some time ago, he told me that you can run up to 0.588 lift on a f-series motor before you'd run into piston valve clearance issues, but with an H, no way. There is no doubt, that...

    H23A VTEC Swap

Very true. All the f23 lacks is a good port flow design and cam definition. Bisi fixed that with is all new cam line. He is posting his cam specs at 0.050, not that advertised duration stuff. Meaning that he has got some "real deal" vtec grinds for the f23. Throw some decent compression into the...

    Cammed!! G23 NonVtec build-in progress

Ok, the swap date has been set. Spring break March 12-17. I'll be going to FL, and Carlos aka "WikkedV15" will do the swap. He has done numerous G-series swaps including g23vtec. He will also wideband tune my engine with uberdata 1.7. I should be the first 6th gen accord to complete a G. Should...
