does anyone have a block heater on 98 accord l4 stick?

Nice guide, but funny how the manual there says it's for a 2001 Accord, but the picture and install is for a CD5 5thgen! OOPS Honda!!! :fca5278e:

Jacking up 2000 Accord via factory pinch weld

Harbor Freight low-pro jack solves everything. And as far as the pinch welds, I would use them sparingly - save those for the shops. On mine, it bent and folded up under weight of the car. Really all depends. I avoid them if I can help it and figure out your own jack point on the subframe of...

    Trade: looking for camshafts

If he hit something, then the oil light came on, then check engine light, now your car wont start or crank - your engine is DONE. You ruined the crank bearings and other engine parts by letting the oil drain and likely seized the engine. If that's the case, then sorry for your loss.

    Anyone try the vlip?

That is not V-lip.. It's called JP-style lip. I know, IMHO the lip sucks, unless it's modified to flow properly. Too many gaps, too bulky. My friend used to have one.

    Trade: looking for camshafts

Camshafts plural :lawl: (F23A1 has only ONE camshaft)? or Camshaft's (contraction for: "is")? How is it BROKE? That's highly unlikely. Please elaborate for any further response from anyone. I would check car-part.com for OEM replacements, or local junkyards. The cam is SO easy to remove.

H23a VTEC swap.... after going obd1 idle surges

Try spraying starter fluid in areas of suspected leaks, if idle raises or any changes, then you know that's where the leak is. Another thing you can try if you have the resources is get a vacuum/pressure leak test kit, Harbor Freight carries them for like $16.

H23a VTEC swap.... after going obd1 idle surges

Hard to tell.. Could be either an IACV issue, improper tuning, FITV (if applicable), or a simple vacuum leak anywhere in the system - could be from a vacuum line, to a leak in the intake manifold gasket causing it. Could be a variety of things. You're going to have to do a little more poking around.

F23a1 Turbo build (update 10/20/12) DYNO

I would plan on having at least a solid 4K set aside for everything that this involves. Unforseen things ALWAYS happen.. No matter how hard you try to prevent them. That's why they are unforseen :evillol:.

    ★ Russianred's 1991 Fully Built Turbo Integra ★

^ That looks like a really nice build man! Very clean. Do you still have the car? So apparently the Integra has the rare B17 block from the 1992–1993 Integra GSR (DB2/DA9), combined with the P72-1 head, from a 2000 GSR, so my guess is that the head would be the B18C1 found in 1994–2001 USDM...

    ★ Russianred's 1991 Fully Built Turbo Integra ★

Oh dude it's wild! I honestly don't know, I'm new to the world of fitment, as far as anything unrelated to an F23 is concerned lol. I never really liked civics much, but its comforting to know that so many parts can be interchanged with the integra, and they are cheap cheap. So I guess I'm...

    Is this an accurate assumption?

AzN answer = it'sJdMy0. Take those valves and tighten them down all the way until you strip the screws, this will keep them from ever unscrewing, make sure you put on some mad permanent loktyte on them, and this will also help keep that tyte compressionz even when the valves are open and the...

    Is this an accurate assumption?

How bout I give you a mother Russian answer: None of these things have anything to do with valve lash. As long as your valves are properly adjusted you should be all set. If you have any type of "putting" or power loss, think misfire - could be something in the ignition system, or think timing...
