    Called junk yard for 5 lug spindles/hub assembly and calipers. Only had fronts for $200 for everything. He asked me if I really wanted to do this. He said the "thru bolt" on the spindle gets seized and is hard to take off? Is he referring to where the spindle connects to the control arm?

    Acquired! Didn't feel the need to haggle his price down. He threw in a second set of tires, so i really can't complain. He did a really nice job with the paint. Not rattle canned. Shot with a base coat and cleared. More motivation for a 5 lug swap.

    I used 1/2 beveled faucet washers available at Lowws on the bottom to help center the plastic standouts, and a 1/2 flat washer on top. The washers really make it nice and solid and offered good compression as I fastened it to the box.

    I picked up a few plactic amplifier standouts at another shop today, when i was buying speaker wire spade terminals. He said his installers use these. If i do decide to go with this, I will used some rubber washers on opposing ends.
