    The top plate looks billet to me, unless it's just chromed plastic. Even though it looks like it was made for that red top, I wouldn't want my terminals that close to it.

    Aftermarket FPR's are more trouble than they're worth. I'd sell/return the Synapse and get an OE FPR with a big outlet. That should fit your budget. :beer2:

    I like it, except I'd use heavier wire all around. 0 gauge at a minimum for the main power and ground, and at least 4 gauge to both the starter and OE fuse box. And that top plate over the battery scares me. What is your battery holder secured to?
