VSS replaced but still no MPH marked

If I remember correctly, there are 3 wires coming off the vss plug. colors should be black, red, and yellow? Ground, hot, and constant I think? Someone else will probably chime in.

VSS replaced but still no MPH marked

Put the front on jackstands. You're going to need a friend. Basically you're going to put the car in gear and have the wheels spin. While that is happening you can test the wiring for the vss.

VSS replaced but still no MPH marked

I'm going to say you're probably looking at a wiring issue. Do you have a multimeter?

VSS replaced but still no MPH marked

Don't even get me started on this issue.... Lol. But like he said. Find an a scan tool that provides miles per hour. If it displays the speed then its problem between cluster and vss. If it doesn't display on that, then it's between Ecu and vss. Are any fuses blown?

    Speedometer drops to zero

I'm pulling dash soon. Will make it easier to to see the wiring and I need to take it out anyways to paint it. Hopefully I see something that is not like the others. The motor was swapped by previous owner. He may have slightly messed up somewhere. Time to find out

I know. I was just giving a recommendation if you are looking for a good daily wagon. Really, the only reason I have an accord wagon is because I got the shell super cheap and I like accords. The legacy wagons are better.

    Free Vehicle history report

I got a free brief history report from the licensing department at a dealership. It was probably free because I had worked at the dealership.

They're pretty convenient. It's pretty similar to a legacy, but also pretty different. If you're looking for a good wagon daily. I'd go with the accord or legacy. If you get a legacy make sure it's a 97 because those are non interference motors and the 2.2 liter is bulletproof.

Thank-you! There is a French style seem with white stitching. It's difficult to see in the picture but that really helps to tie in with the door panels. I agree, the diamonds would just be a little much. Surprisingly, I've never been pulled over. I'll admit that I tend to speed, but that's...

    Speedometer drops to zero

I'm trying to drive the car again to make sure this is fixed before I H22 swap. It has to be a problem with wiring or a bad ground. Can someone tell me all the ground locations on an f23a manual 98 ex.

Trying to decide what I want to do for the dash. I think I just want to swap in a black coupe dash. Possibly paint mine but I would need the black vents from a coupe. Decisions decisions... If anyone has those black vents, let me know!

Pics don't do it justice. Decided not to do the diamond stitching because for seats the white would just get very dirty and it is impossible to clean. I am very pleased with the outcome

There is some newer suede that my interior guy hasn't seen fade in I think 7 years of having it. I'll definitely have to think about it. Today I'm doing my rear seat.

    96 ex, h22 charging issues

This is a 98-02 accord forum, but I'll see if I can provide any help. If the alternator was not doing its job, you would not get far. You would go as far as your battery would allow you. Do you have a multimeter?

$80 for the oem strut bar does not seem worth it to me. I got mine from the junkyard for less than $10

Little update on the winter build. Chances are it will not be painted. For now I'll just painted the rest of the lip kit myself just so I can put it on. I'm getting rid of my spare tire so I can but my battery there I'm going to put hardwood floor in my trunk I am keeping power steering...

Figured out that wires 1 and 6 (red and white/black) are hot, 2 and 3 (black and red/black) are ground, 4 and 5 (white/red and white/ blue) are the high and low settings. Should be pretty simple to wire. Hopefully.
