    Jordan_H's 98 Accord Sedan EX (56k)

So tomorrow I have the day off and am headed to my interior friend's shop. Tomorrow I'm going to order the leather kit for my seats and have my speaker decklid recovered in black. Can anyone give me some tips on removal? I have taken out the seatbelt, c pillars, my entire backseat, speaker...

Glad to know someone else feels my pain lol. I've had it soaking in PB Blaster. I have a month off school after this week and I'll probably get started on the swap again. Ordering mine interior kit this week hopefully. I also have basically everything figured out for my swap. I can't wait to...

Yes, we took a flat head to them. I've had 4 people try to get them off and nothing.

    H22a4 Swap Information

Anybody doing an H22 swap or an F20B swap. While the motor is out of your car, I highly suggest you make this change. They come with an auto timing tensioner, known to fail, causing you to skip timing and causing lots of damage. A lot of people switch to the h23 manual tensioner but that has its...

    Jordan_H's 98 Accord Sedan EX (56k)

Today I was going to be pulling the motor from the prelude I have so I can finally put the motor in my car. I was stuck on the damn axle nuts for 3 hours and guess what? I still have not got them off. I have used an impact gun, a breaker bar with jack handle (I broke the breaker bar), and...

    H22a4 Swap Information

I have been searching all night because I want this swap to be done correctly. I can use saturated injectors with an obd1 Ecu and no resistor packs. Now what I have to figure out for the motor is the IAB. People call it 2 stage because it opens of closes (can't remember too tired) at 4900 rpm...

    H22a4 Swap Information

I think I have everything figured out now H22a4 has saturated injectors H22a1 is peak and hold but peak and hold injectors need resistors. If you do not use resistors you'll fry the ecu I'm going to use the h22a1 distributor because it has adjustable timing and can be used on the p28. I'm...

    Woodgrain or carbon fiber?

I'm pretty sure I have a pic of mine wrapped in carbon fiber in my member's ride. Doesn't look bad. I'm just going for something more vip, which is why I want to get the woodgrain climate control.

    H22a4 Swap Information

That was kind of my plan. The h22a4 is just not well documented anywhere. Especially in a 6th gen. There's just a bunch of ways to go about doing. I think I have everything figured out but I guess we'll see.

    DIY Paint door panels

Just an update. Paint is still holding up awesome. My friends 95 accord coupe had interior parts painted "professionally" and not only do they look terrible, but they don't have a texture anymore because it was sanded, paint is flaking off in a lot of spots, and the black is glossy.

Switching to the peak and hold injectors will I need the resistor box if I run the p28?

    H22a4 Swap Information

I get more and more confused when I read information on this swap. I got an h22a4 for free. I am going to be swapping that into my 98 accord ex manual. I want this thread to be used to help answer questions people have regarding the swap. I am swapping my car to obd1 and using a p28. The h22a4...

Does anyone have a diagram for the Canadian heated seats?

    Heated seats

My interior friend has an aftermarket heated seat kit he is going to be adding to my seats. I am going to try and wire the harness from the aftermarket heater to the stock wiring of the Canadian seat switch. I'll let you know how that goes is it becomes an easy option

It's almost as much work to switch to dual cam and I just personally prefer the SR. Most people are either turbo ka or sr. Kind of like a Coke or Pepsi opinion lol

I can't even remember exactly. I know I cut a lot of plastic but kept enough in areas to put a screw in the plastic shroud of the foglights. It's very difficult to explain it someone because there are a million different ways to do but really no way to guide some through. Just basically be smart...

If you have the funds, definitely go s14. Don't worry too much about the shipping quote. My car isn't going anywhere, sadly... I probably won't make a thread for the s13, at least not until later. Plans for it are Find a transmission Weld the diff BC coilovers Bride Gias seats...

    6spd for 4 cylinder

K series is a 6 speed but the chances of you getting that to work is slim to none. If you did get it to work then it honestly wouldn't reall be worth it. A rebuild of your transmission would probably be easy, or find another one. S2000 has an F series but I'm pretty sure that tranny would not...

Bluetop H23a VTEC vs H22a Swap? Which one?

Is there an issue with your current motor?

Bluetop H23a VTEC vs H22a Swap? Which one?

Like stated, the automatic transmission would really limit the power felt. You would probably feel a bigger difference manual swapping than you would motor swapping. H23a is cheaper but the h22a would probably be better in the long run if you plan on modding it. A jdm motor could be a little...

Here's just a quick pic My plans are basically going to be a little more track day inspired, possibly. The body being super clean I would feel bad drifting it all the time. However, it's hard to feel bad when you're sideways around a corner having a blast. I know for sure that I won't be doing...
