    Does it have the vaccuum lines attatched? Generic intake sometimes don't have the provisions for the other attatched line/lines. Dirty filter maybe?

    Lol, they'll know what you're talking about when you say push lock, and if not then they need a new job. So I guess now would be a bad time to post pics of my garage lol.

    Its best to eliminate all problems. Take your master cylinder to the parts store and tell them you want push lock hose that will fit on there, they'll have it and they charge by the foot. If you go often they may just give it to you for free. I'm sorry you don't have a place to work on your...

    If its vaccuum, its not going to work. It will swell with pressure. Push lock lines, like ones used for fuel, will work just fine. Pattywak, you're not doing the work yourself?

    If you need to meet a deadline then the ploastic one should be fine. In the mean time have them order an iron one so when its in stock swap them out ujnder warranty.

    It should be fine. With aftermarket parts from autozone, kragen, pepboys, and advanced auto they have a lifetime warranty. So if it doesn't work take it back and get a new one. I'm pretty sure the dealer doesn't do that.
