    This engine is being stored vertically as shown in the pic. This is a very unusual process considering the engine will have to go through a full rebuild before being used again. This position puts the bearings under unusual stress. Its a ge cf6 rated at 40,000+ pounds of thrust.

    Had to do some work over at the engine warehouse. Decided to take a couple pics when I dropped off my tools. Taken with my phone, I swear one day I'm gonna have to get a real camera lol.

    Q towers are yakima so it wouldn't work, this takes feet or at least that's what Thule calls them. The rack is the wrong one cause the crossbars have this sliding thing that the feet are connected to for a universal fit for cars with existing rails like suvs and wagons have.

    I put foam under the brackets so they wouldn't rub on the paint. I know I know,its ghetto. It'll be off soon enough.
