    So i got that code (catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 1) well i got a whole new exhaust system headers all the way back and im still getting the code and my car jumps and jerks while driving and mph guage would fluxuate up and down about 10mph each way when it would bog and jerk? Any ideas

    ok so while driving mt mph would fluctuate up and down about 5-10 mph each way....and im getting ticked...i got a all new cat and exhaust and got new plugs....whats next? its still throwing the p 0420 code

    (ktown) yea mine boggs when i give it slight acceleration but if i floor the gas it doesnt bogg as bad and i was driving today and while doing about 60mph on the highway when it would bogg down the rpms would drop about 5mph then jump right back up???

    ok cool. well today i was driving and would hit the gas and it would completely bog down then i would let up and it would catch itself again. so maybe an o2 sensor or somthing? plugs? wires?

    yes it was hollowed out and yes it is where the second o2 goes in. spark plug trick? whats that? what do you suppose the issue is then?

    ok so today i took the cat out and there is no guts inside. so im guessing it an aftermarket. but while i had the exhaust off i jiggled the muffler and i heard a buch of loose guts in there so i cut the muffler off and still have the cat and midpipe canister and thats it and it seems to be doing...

    cars a 5 speed not auto....and yea sounds like we have the same problem....ok ill go get some seafoam and try it out and rent a scantool from oriellys auto and see what code its throwing

    ok well my car jerks when i slightly accelerate. but when the car is cold it doesnt jerk. and if i push the pedal like halfway down the jerk stops till im on pressing on it slightly......anybody have any ideas?
