Well, I already replaced the upstream o2 sensor, on my other engine, and swapped the sensor over during the swap. Maybe I should take it out and have a look at it?
Also, I bought the secondary o2 sensor with the cat that I bought like a year ago, so I already have it all.
One thing I've...
Hey 6ga,
So I've been getting terrible gas mileage lately... Maybe 10-15 mpg city and 20 mpg highway, and it's becoming a huge problem.
I know that my cat is gone because 8 months ago before I swapped my engine with another f23a1, it was rattling like crazy on the inside when I idled. After...
Well I appreciate you at least attempting to help, thank you very much for that. Everything works correctly (speedo, shifting, reverse lights, everything), if I use a multimeter, how should I go about testing the circuit if you dont mind me asking?
Interesting, the neutral safety switch I replaced was inside of the wheel well on the front right and had a cover over it that I had to take off first.
I have no issues getting into gear, the gear im in is displayed correctly on my cluster but sometimes there's a bit of lag when I shift into...
Unfortunately I have a 4 cylinder. I've already replaced the neutral safety switch/Transmission range sensor once and the codes are still being thrown. maybe it's not the switch but the harness it connects to?
In the beginning I was definitely guilty of just posting topics without searching the forums before-hand, I make it a habit to search the forum before I post now and 99 percent of the time I find what I need but sometimes there's that 1 percent (like the topic I recently posted) that I can't...
Hey guys
My car has been throwing this code for a year now and in the course of the year I've replaced my neutral safety switch (correctly btw) and cleared the code but it comes back.
The code states that I have a short in my transmission range sensor but I was told it was the neutral...
Heya, your ride is great my friend but I feel as though I should mention something:
Putting HIDs inside of the normal housing of your headlights without a projector will terribly blind other drivers because HIDs cast light differently. Do your fellow drivers a favor and please retrofit.
Hey again 6ga,
I'm not entirely sure if this is the correct forum for this but my right rear door is damaged (it was like that before I got the car), and I have a friend who has a 98 accord that is also silver, that told me that he'll sell me his door since he's gonna scrap his car soon...
Those look pretty awesome, I'm definitely going to take yours and everyone else's advice in this thread and just retrofit lol. Thanks for the input my friend. Now the only question is whether I'm going to black-house my lights or not. My ride is silver so I'm not sure yet...
Haha it's no problem at all, no need to apologize for something that you're going out of your way to do. I understand. Hopefully that pinched nerve isn't giving you too much trouble. I appreciate the effort though.
I think because of what you just said about the halos, I might actually just...
Ah I see, thank you. I bookmarked it so when I get the money, I'll invest in them. Also, do you have any pictures of how your HID and retrofit looks at night?
If you don't mind me asking, where did you get them?
Also @f23.Tetsusaiga, would you still be willing to take a picture of what your projectors look like at night, just so I could see?
I guess I'm just going to have to then haha.
What set up do you have (hid kit, retrofit kit, and whatever else is relevant)? I want a black housing for my headlights but not tinted lenses.
That would absolutely be great if you could show me what it looks like, I'm still debating on what I should do. I wanted to retrofit for a little while but it seems pretty difficult from the videos i've seen online but I might go to the junkyard and get an extra set of headlights and just try it...
Heya 6ga,
I had a question about these spyder project headlights: http://www.carid.com/2002-honda-accord-headlights/spyder-projector-headlights-25510450.html and I was wondering if it would be alright to put HIDs in them.
I've been searching the forum for the past half hour, reading...
Hey everyone,
I'm just wondering what you guys think about the quality of this header and if anyone has used it before: http://www.carid.com/2002-honda-accord-exhaust-systems/spec-d-exhaust-header-78252247.html
I know that I'm going to get the Magnaflow catback for my car, and I already...
If I can chime in on this: Do you have a CEL light on? I just recently had my engine swapped and I was throwing a code saying "2nd clutch pressure switch failure" and that made my shifting from 1st to second delay by like a second or two almost.
I found out that mine wasn't fully plugged in, so...
I see, I completely understand what you're saying.
I do have a question though: Could I just throw it in the gas tank like Xci said? I'd feel much safer doing just that for now, until I have the money for a new engine just in case something happens.
Oddly enough I talked to my boss about seafoam and he said that he had a fill treatment done on his car and it blew his engine 2 days later.
Should I be taking a chance like this?
So wait, I just take a can of seafoam and put it in my gas tank when I fill up? I'll go ahead and try that. Oddly enough, I looked at my dipstick today and I'm only half a quart low and my oil still looks clean as can be.
Which exact castrol synthetic do you run? (What's the exact name? High...
I didn't see that my thread got moved, wow.
Well yeah compression came out well when I had the engine swapped. No issues there. I recently looked by my distributor and underneath it where my heater hose is, and found some oil, though I don't think enough has leaked out for me to lose a quart...
