    After reading your post, it sounds like a good place to start troubleshooting would be the ignition.The ignition harness was a recall from Honda and you can have this replaced if it has not been done previously.     ABS to Non-ABS anyone attempted this???

    I did the same thing when I lost a sensor and have never looked back as I consider ABS in MOST cars and especially Honda's to be extremely intrusive during any inclimate weather (take your pick of snow or rain)
