So I decided to do my first oil change last night. Got all my materials and jacked up the car. Then I tried to get that oil pan drain bolt out, and it wouldn't give! I even tried using my foot on the socket wrench, but it would not budge and the bolt started stripping. I gave my buddy a...

Screw g"A"y EM, I'll make my own CAI

i just did this mod too. Gonna test it out later tonight. I got the snorkel to fit on the bottom of the air box perfectly by using the rubber connecter and ring clamps from my cai (which by the way sucks because it was from ebay). No cutting, drililng, or sanding was required on my part

Screw g"A"y EM, I'll make my own CAI

have any of you guys considered using dryer hose? I know it sounds super ghetto, but I got a 3" piece of dryer hose from home depot, and used that as a way to fake ram air from outside the bumper cover. I connected one end to the bottom of the stock airbox (getting that to fit was also a...

    And so it happened.. -_-

hope u guys are alright btw, ur right about the asian parents. When the hobo threw a rock at me and left a ding in my car....the first thing my parents asked was if the car was okay, rather than "are you okay, did he hit you in the head?"

CAR starts but doesnt shift out of park...

i know this may sound retarded, but if you removed those two wiring harnesses that connect to the clock assembly, did you remember to plug it back? I forgot to re-plug one while I was installing my headunit, and my left front speaker, power windows, didn't work.

For those who removed their resonators...

This is a while ago, but when I removed my stock intake resonator, I decided to experiment with something. I bought a piece of 3" dryer hose and spray painted it black. After the resonator was removed, I attached (taped) one end of the dryer hose to the bottom of the air filter box, and zipped...

    Signs of a dying clutch?

someone told me a sign was if you floor the gas and your car goes nowhere, or it takes a few seconds to accelerate after you floor the gas. Basically, I guess your rpm's shoot up, but your car slugs. Or another one I heard was, you try to deliberately stall the car but you can't. For...

    DIY 9005 Conversion

i just sacrificed a soldering iron. It was 7$ from radio shack. Heat the iron up and stick the tip of the iron on the tabs. After a few seconds, the tabs will start to melt. This takes a while, and it smells really bad, so do it outside. Also, don't plan on reusing that iron for...

the needle rests are different on the 4 cyl. and v6 models. I think the needle rests on the v6 speedo and tach are farther in from the edge of the gauges.
