Well I got my fogs in today and installed them using the OEM wiring & button (was already on my car from the last fog lamps) everything worked fine the problem I ran into was mounting them on the bumper. There is 2 metal brackets REQUIRED for each fog lamp in order to hold it into the bumper which were NOT INCLUDED into the fog lamp package. Not sure if this was just my package or thats how Motorenergy sends them out. You CANNOT install these fog lamps WITHOUT these brackets unless you rig up something (Would be a huge pain the ***, trust me). I don't have pictures as I completely spaced it out being pissed off about the brackets. Thankfully I had my OEM brackets from my previous bumper (life saver). Once I had the brackets it was just a matter of cutting the bumper and mounting them.

I'm not even sure you can buy these brackets separately, I'm looking for parts numbers now so I will post them as soon as I find them.

I will try my best to get pictures as soon as I can, I just don't feel like pulling the bumper off at the moment.

Check it out Sinful - Shaved has an 01-02 bumper, so I don't think he got the civic fogs. I'm pretty sure he's got the 01-02 yellow fogs from the same seller as the civic fogs - motorenergy. I think he wants to find out if the OEM brackets fit the ebay 01-02 fogs.

Let me be the first to confirm.....any of the OEM-style fogs purchased from ebay, with the exception of the seller, Depo, DO NOT come with the brackets. I have looked in various places in Ontario and in the state of NY, and no dealer sells the brackets separately. Best bet would be to go to a scrap yard and hope you can source the parts from there.

I happened to luck out on a set that was complete that I picked up from another Member on TAC which had the brackets.

Not to mention the ebay sets don't come with the right size fog switch, good thing TASauto exists! Of course when you use the OEM 01-02 fogs/switch, the ebay sets don't have the proper connector to connect to the OEM fog switch.

SO, do what you can to source all the parts if you are determined to use the ebay OEM-style Accord fogs.

Happy hunting.

No I have the brackets from my previous bumper thank god. So far it's looking like you cannot buy the brackets separately either. I was just warning people before hand. Because there is almost NO way to mount these without them.

I saw someone before who just bolted them from diagonal corners from the front with deadbolts, and rigged up a bracket in back. That looked like it worked out well. I can't remember who it was though...

I think I saw those pics as well, that was from awhile back. I'm sure it could be done, but for people who may not want to settle for anything but the OEM brackets, VERY difficult to source them separately from the rest of the kit.

I just drilled holes in the foglight covering and drilled some holes in my bumper and just ziptied them. the only thing holding my fogs to my bumper is two ziptied on each fog. I also used a marker to color the white ziptie so it would match the foglight covering, lmao. Sounds pretty ghetto, but it's been holding up good so far.
