Cleaned my throttle body

I don't know about a "guide" but here goes...this is my first attempt at writing a DIY, so have mercy with the flamethrowers.

Parts needed: TB gasket (~$3 for OEM) and TB cleaner (~$3 at any auto chain)

Time: ~1 hour, depends on how much gasket scraping you have to do.

-Remove the air intake duct from the TB, you'll see the clamp at the TB, also unclip 1-2 lines from the duct.
-Disconnect the TPS and MAP connectors from the TB. One is on top and the other is toward the firewall.
-Remove the throttle cable and cruise control cable from the TB. Just turn them down enough to get slack in the cables and the slide the end connector through each slot/opening.
-Remove the TB mounting nuts and bolts (4 total) with a 12mm socket. You'll have to find the bottom left one by feel. Leave the coolant hoses connected (unless you are completely removing the TB from the engine bay, not needed for this). The TB may not come loose after you remove the bolts. I tapped it with a rubber mallet and then tapped it harder - nothing. I then put the handle of a screwdriver on one of the exposed corners of the TB and hit it (the screwdriver) with a hammer.
-On mine pieces of the gasket stuck to each surface. Get out your scrapers, do a lot of cursing and get all of that crap off.
-Put a rag under the TB and turn it enough so that you can see inner side of the TB (as seen in the pic I attached in my OP). Spray the cleaner in the TB, wipe out the crud with a rag, repeat several times. That was enough to get it pretty clean.
-I see where a lot of people just remove the intake duct and spray the outer side of the TB. From a Honda TSB - "To avoid damaging the idle air control valve (IACV), spray the cleaner through the back of the TB, not the front." Up to you obviously if you want to ignore that...
-Put on the new gasket and then reinstall all parts in reverse order of removal. Honda lists the torque at 16 lb-ft.
-Go drive the p*ss out of your car. Probably all in my mind, but the car seems to jump a little faster now with a lighter touch of the pedal.

to remove the cables, just "rotate the throttle shaft bellcrank until the cable is lined up with the slot in the bellcranks, then detach the cable from the bellcrank." Then remove the 2 screws holding the cable bracket to the TB. i didnt have to touch the adjusting nut or locknut.

I just put seafoam in a plastic spray bottle and sprayed into the TB, and then held the throttle full open and sprayed inside and just let it sit. You could prolly just use carb cleaner too. It doesn't clean to the point of bare metal but it does an alright job, especially the being easier part
