Hi, I've got a 2002 honda accord ex v6, it has 160,000 miles on it and I haven't owned it for that long, but I paid 1500 for it so I got a pretty good deal. Every now and then it will miss on cylinder 5,6 and then I get a p1399, and I have no idea what the p1399 is. But I can't really feel it miss. but its 40 degrees, I assumed sparkplugs, but they werent replaced that long ago. Please help me.

Sounds like dirty injectors, if not check the timing, make sure the spark plug wires are supposed to be going to their appropriate plugs, and that they are not loose. You may need a tune-up such as replacing the wires, plugs, cap & rotor.

When mine misfired it was a coil pack. If the spark plugs are fine, with the car on, unplug each coil pack one by one...if it sounds the same when you unplug it, (no changes in idle) check that plug or coil pack. Good luck!

I was thinking it was my injectors... I haven't seafoamed it yet. But the car was a fleet car and was taken care of by the dealership. But I don't believe I have a plug wires or a rotor and cap because its a coil. Their NGK double platinum if I'm not mistaken, but I'm going to replace the plugs and see if maybe they put the wrong gap in there and that could be why. But when I go to check them and unplug them they aren't acting up. I try yo pull over when my engine light is flashing and my TCS light kicks on and then I check them and it'll start to miss. But I can tell its missing in a way. Cause when I'm creeping up to a stop sign I can feel the car kinda jerk/throw a fit lol.
