what size bulbs for these?

They come with D2S bulbs. I just checked the brand name and they are Osram Xenarc 35w bulbs, made in Germany.

i have DDM ballasts. would those work?

If they are 35w ballasts, then you can use them. Assuming your DDM kit is a plug and play 9006 kit, you'll also need to find a pair of AMP to D2S connectors so that they'll work with the D2S bulbs. They look like this:

And will run about $10-$15 +shipping for a pair on eBay.
