I just got my wheels yesterday and they stick out about a fingernail length. Can i get them shaved down so they fit properly?

Like the back part where they go onto the rotors. Its a good 3/4 in thick so if i could just get it milled down a few mm it would look better.

If you said they're +42mm, you dont need to shave them. You just wont be able to slam your car, just a mild, sporty, drop is all.

I'm not sure what the offset is but they stick out just a little. Do yours stick out with the +42 offset?

I wouldn't say they stick out, more line up with the fender line. A tad bit tucked in the back. Can you post a picture??

when i had 7.5" wide wheels w/ a +42mm offset they rubbed occasionally.... 8" is too wide imo

only thing you can really do is A) shave out the back of the hubs if they are thick enough to still be structurally sound to get a +45mm or however much offset or B) roll your fenders and hope for the best (although I doubt that would help in your case)

i say just pull and roll the finders, if an s2000 can run 17x9 and 18x9 with just pulling and rolling the finders i'm sure we can run 18x8. i can't remember what his offset is cuz i was just to busy looking at how crazy the rims looked on it. it was so much meat all around the car, he said that the car was super grippy and that it was just crazy to drive.
