My bro has 98 accord 5spd, he had a h22a transmission and engine, the engine went bad so we switched back to a f23 and kept the h22 tranny, it ran fine for a couple days then 1 3 and 5 quit working, we checked the cables and everything seems fine, we took it back to the shop and they said that it was the synchronizer. The transmission ran fine before the new engine and the new engine runs fine but I wanna be sure nothing else could be wrong before getting a new tranny. Also what would be the cheapest tranny option?
