Hey guys...., I'm new here. I'm wondering if there's any detailed instruction on how to "do it yourself" on replacing drive belts? I have a 2000 accord v6 coupe ex that has been making a heck of a lot of belt noises lately. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks!

i dont think theres a diy for the drive belts. i havent had my hands on the v6's much, but if theyre anything like the i4's, which im sure they are, the power steering pump is how you tension that belt, and the alternator has a built in tensioner on the mount to tighten and loosen that belt. its really pretty easy if you just look at them for a minute. all you need is a couple sockets and you should be good to go.

he's got the V6, so he most likely has an Automatic belt tensioner, which means hes gotta check the belt and the and the tensioner. if I can find the instructions I'll post it
