If you have subs I would unplug the 6x9's. I may try to rig a switch for the stock 6x9's so that I can just flip it on if there's someone in the back and I'm listening to music. Many people skip the rears, for "sound stage". But i find it makes for nice rear fill. Just lower the volume and lower the crossover point.
