The center of the coupe bumper (where the grill is) just doesn't come up as high as it does on a sedan bumper.

Thats why the coupes hood reaches a little further down to the grill than a sedan hood.

I don't think there is a way to fix it really.

Other than get a sedan bumper.
or trade your sedan hood for a coupe hood.

im 99% sure you have a sedan hood.

people have been asking about if they need to change hoods if they switch bumpers.

in your case you need to switch bumpers for your hood...or just trade for a coupe hood. the 01-02 coupe bumpers look better so i would keep that and get a new hood.
