still looks like a 206 that got the "jose canseco treatment." that type r sticker on the side is frickin huge. who else noticed that it has minivan wipers like the venture/caravan models?

anyone know why honda is designing a new model instead of using an existing chassis to make a type r

Wow, a 4 door CTR. We already get the JDM-bodied Civic here in Canada as the Acura CSX, so I guess we can expect some people to do a Type-R conversion on those.

In other news, Honda seems to want to go rallying with the new CTR. They just submitted the car to the FIA for homologation.

The euro one would be way sicker than the jdm one if it was a coupe. I don't know if it's a 4 door hatch, can't tell by the pics but a coupe or a 2 dr fake hatch (meaning it could have just a trunk but it doesn't like integras or dsms) would be tight. I know type r's are supposed to be hatches but i'd love to see a type r coupe.
