found eibach pro kit lowering springs on craiglist for $100.. im meeting the guy today.. they're used.. is there any thing i should look for or ask about the springs to make sure they're in good condition? he claims there in perfect shape but i'm not sure if i'll be able to tell.. i'm meeting him in an hour so any quick responses would be great.. thanks :)

Spring pairs should be equal height, but you won't really now until they're on the car.

try compressing it by pushing the spring down.. if it's easy to compress it, u have bad springs

actually, rust does affect the performance of the spring... rust will weaken the integrity of the spring as a whole and it will eventually cause the spring to sag (i speak from experience and a lil common sense :lawl: )
