3M headlight lens restoration

what do you guys think?
i thought i could just buy 500, 800, 3000 grits 3m paper, and some polishing compound, with a diy pad it should do just about the same thing.

yeah, you can just get those level of grit sandpapers at walmart and some plast-x for polishing and your good.

i still suggest you should get the 3000 grit trizac foam pad (because of the foaaaaaaaming action...which does something...but it worked) however, as long as you go from level 1 to level 3 your good

i went out and bought some sandpapers, i couldn't find the trizac foam pad at walmart nor o'reily. plastx is surprisingly expensive at 7.99 lol

yeah, its just for the fooooooooaming action that does who knows what...but youve got every thing you need. btw, that plastx may be 7 bucks a pop but it lasts and can be applied for a clean shine on your headlights anytime...also its good for CDs

i used plastix and an orange cutting pad plus a porter cable on my dull headlights and it worked just fine. but this kit should work on headlights that need more attention.
