i've been looking at this stuff too, im just worried about cleaning it, i've touched clear bra vinyl with a buffing wheel or orbital a few times by accident and nothing happens, not so sure about a plasti-dip like material, seems like it would ball up or rub off.
also cleaning in general because im working my 2nd auto detailing job and i deal with a lot of love bugs here in florida, clear bra takes bugs well and safe to use bug pads on them, again i have no idea how the spray would hold up

It sounds good except for the fact that it has some tack to it, I don't want to have to pick out small road debris, grass, etc. Wonder why it's a little sticky, I don't think it should be.

Maybe i didnt spray on enough layer? I'm not sure. The product itself is a sticky substance so maybe it can't be helped. Its def worth the money though if you're looking for extra security on a lip or something.

im doing this before i leave for college, hopefully by the end of this month, will be using tips from these links

looks like it works just like real clear coat with if you put the right amount on and have it in the correct warm temperature and spray it in the garage wear the car is cool, it should level out properly and not have orange peel, also looks like putting can in warm water makes a big difference, these threads had good results.
also i cant afford the 200$ to get clear bra right now :lawl: hope i can do the front end and mirrors with 2 cans

Okay so I finally got around to using this stuff, applied it to a pair of new side underspoilers. I washed and waxed them, then masked the front face, and about 1” back on the top, side, and bottom. I just followed the directions that came in the box, and watched the YouBewb instructional video. I personally have had a great experience with this stuff, it came out crisp, clean, and clear. There was still some tack this morning so I will update tonight when I get home.

Right after spraying. Sorry it was dark.

About 30 minutes after spraying. Not too much different.

This morning. I’m happy with the result, wish I had covered more. Any distortion is due to reflections.

CB, that looks great! It doesn't have a tint or color to it, does it? Your first couple of pics make it look like the coveted area is pink as opposed to red.
This would definitely be good as a ClearBra substitute or a cheaper DIY option.

I forgot to update on the tack issue, it was gone that night when I got home. So basically, I have no complaints about this stuff. I may do the whole sideskirt. And I'll def use it if I ever repaint the hood and bumper.

The film is cloudy in the pics because it was still curing, which made the paint look pink. The last pic is the final result. It's completely transparent, I'm pretty impressed. Definitely a great option if you want to protect an area but not spend the money for VentureShield. We'll see how it holds up, box says it lasts a year.

Btw, this was done in maybe high 70's/low 80's temp.
