My buddy told me that if I wanted to do a 5spd swap I would need to change the brake booster and master cylinder too .. is that true ?!

dude do the research i know u dont know and im not trying to be mean but ppl gonna bash the **** out of you for asking so much and not researching u know y cuz this has been covered in other threads and forums...plus how would u feel answering the same questions over and over ...please search for your own good ....thanks and yea i believe its true but not sure(cant really remember) so use the search functions to find out

Well, I just did a search for both brake booster and master cylinder and came up with nothing '5lug conversion' related.. maybe I just suck at searching, so ..

Oh yeah that's awesome, I won't have to replace the Master Cyl or Brake booster ?? woot ! Saves me some work !! Thanks !:ohsnap:

well, since your car is an lx and has rear drums, technically changing out the master cylinder should be something youd need to do, since the one for ex's and v6's is slightly different. but you dont need to change it out. i wasnt planning on changing it when i was going to do the conversion, and BlkCurrantKord didnt change his when he did the conversion.​
