5-speed swap questions...

so any f22 h22 h23 tranny can fit into f23??? the year doesnt matter? jus any of them can mix and match it?

they fit, but the gears will pose a problem

mating a h22 trans onto a f23 engine will yeild higher rpm at 60 mph than the f23 trans. causing more stress and poorer mpg

so the best thing is just find a f23 mt and swap it with the f23 at?

What about wiring issues? I'm pretty sure I can do the swap, but the switching of wiring, re-pinning, testing makes me nervous!

Where did you find someone to do that? They still doing it? I'm in NY and would drive anywhere in state for that price. Is it near you?

A 5-speed swap is not the same as a full motor swap. Post your questions in the correct thread(s). In fact, pretty sure your questions have already been answered if you'd take 5 min to search and read.
