I'm finally starting to work on my H22a which I bought about a year or 2 ago. This will be pretty much a bolt on build possibly with some head work but basically stock pistons and crank. I'm still debationg on cams, valves and porting the head along with deleting the balancing shafts (I would have motor balanced and blue printed) this is all still up in the air though.

So motor has 90 xxx came complete with m2a4 5spd trans, the transmission will probably make it into the car sooner due to auto having issues. I was hoping on getting 200hp to the wheels, I might be dreaming though lol

Here's the plan, any feed back on these parts would be great

-Omni 70mm TB
-Match intake manifold to TB (I'm 90% there)
-Thermal intake gaskets
-Remove butterfly valves (done)
-Intake manifold work (90% done)
-Cams/Valves...feed back would be great I guess Skunk if any
-Mild head work (if cams and valves)
-Aftermarket cam seals Golden Eagle or Skunk
-AEM fuel rail (have)
-Injectors... do I need or is oem ok?
-Head Gasket What is a good one to use?
-Block and heads decked
-Block to get inspected and replace what is needed
-Gates timing belt with Kspeed manual tensioner
-Kspeed balance shaft delete kit.. Worth it or not?
-Balance and blue print if I do the above..
-Basically all new seals and gaskets mostly Honda wil be used
-Innovative mounts
-Fidanza lightened flywheel with extedy clutch
-Aem cold air
-Decent exhaust manifold
-Clean and paint everything

I might be missing a few things here and will post progress as I go wont be done over night but hopefully by next summer I will be installing it.
Here is some pics of what I have started.

Sounds pretty good! Basically what I've gathered is, doing an all motor build is very expensive and you don't see much. I wouldn't upgrade the cams because it's expensive and not a huge upgrade. Just have something fun but if you really want to see power that is somewhat cost effective, you gotta go turbo. I thought about the balance shaft delete but I'm not sure if it's really worth it and how difficult it is to do. Looking forward to your build because I'm headed a similar direction with my h22a4 but I want to pair it with the t2t4

I though the same for the cams lots o money some type s ones would be nice , I read on the lude forums about removing the balancing shafts some say it's worth it others not. I'm just about finished matching the intake to the tb I'm at 65mm so far I'm going for 68mm cuz I read the omni power 70mm tb tapers down to 68mm. Then I gotta get the block checked out and decked. Slowly but surely it coming along. I was just looking at my AEM fuel rail and it turns out I don't have to mod my fuel input line cuz that rail has multiple inlets.:)
