I hate those lanyard things. I always keep my keys in my pockets so I only need what's necessary. I know during my senior year in high school it became fashion to stick your keys in your pockets and have those lanyards sticking out of your pocket. It was considered "cool." Showing you had a car. Although some people didn't actually have cars, just house keys.
