i thought about that , because here in socal theres a crap load of traffic, so manual can be a bish sometimes, but a better auto tranny will cost about the same as a 6MT swap.

I was being sarcastic.
JL, I would be surprised if the price were the same, I'm just not sure if there is a compatible auto tranny upgrade with the stock J30. You could look in to using an Oddy tranny, but I don't know that the compatible year would be an improvement.
That is all just to say if you were seriously considering that option.
well ive heard of a few people using the 5speed tranny that came on the 2nd gen TL/CL's. thats why im thinking it might cost the same because the auto trans cost more then the manual, but the manual cost more to get installed.
