If you plan to bring something, let mod know so the can edit the first thread and put down what ur bringing next to your name

Werd. I think that we should post our cell phone numbers so that everyone can atleast reach a mod or someone who is helping with this meet aka dres (I know I already have yours, but I'm not going to post numbers til it gets closer.) Just an idear. Plus radios are a must!!! Might as well get all the ideas out there while we can.

The use of a radar detector in a passenger vehicle is legal in all states with the exception of Virginia, Washington DC. and on military bases.

Radar detectors are illegal in all commercial vehicles weighing over 10,000 pounds

In Canada, the only three provinces that allow their use are Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

Many overseas countries also ban their use, such as Portugal, Finland and Spain.

In areas that radar detectors are illegal, law enforcement use a device called the Spectre that is able to detect the use of radar detector in your car or truck.

If you drive in any of the areas where the use of radar detectors are illegal, there is only one radar detector that can defeat the Spectre, and that is the Beltronics STi Driver.

so, i should remove/hide my radar detector before i get to VA

No, if you have a radar detector, it will be detected, and they will pull you over and ticket you. That's my understanding of it. However, use it at your own risk, I wouldnt use it in VA at all. Plus we really wont need it becuase we'll be doing the speed limit

My radar detector has a VG2 alert. Hopefully, tht should save me. But if I get paranoid, I'll just turn it off.

PS.
If anyone has a Nextel of Boost mobile, I can give you my two-way number
