it seems like the fog is trimmed on both edges to be slimmer because it looks more boxy and squarish compared to a unmodified oem fog.

really? when i get a chance, i'll take a closer picture of the lip/bumper/fogs. cause the lip fits perfectly over the fogs/bumper, no modifications needed. and i didn't use the cover that goes on top of the fogs; the lip wouldn't go over it, so i had to take it off, it's just the fog light. =)

the holes on the lip slide inwards into the foglight slot which meant we couldn't use the covers, it is the oem fogs for 02, i ordered and installed it

in due time derek, 2nd gear is slipping, next tranny is 6spd swap lol and motor swap since it's 315,000k now hahaha
